Eighth annual Best of Morgantown party features Davisson Brothers Band
Morgantown magazine and New South Media are throwing a bash for the winners of the 2019 BOM competition, as seen in the February/March 2019 issue of Morgantown magazine. The public is invited to mingle with the merchants, entertainers, and restaurateurs they chose in Morgantown magazine’s annual BOM survey.
BOM 2019 Best Music Venue 123 Pleasant Street hosts this year’s party, which starts at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20. WVAQ weekday morning hosts Jack Logar and Nikki Drake will emcee recognition for winners in 101 categories, from Best Sushi and Best Sweet Indulgence to Best Day Spa and Best Dry Cleaner. Attendees will win valuable door prizes donated by many of the BOM winners, and the party will be capped off with a performance by five-time BOM favorites Davisson Brothers Band.
Light refreshment will be provided by 2019 BOM-winning restaurants including Apple Annie’s, Black Bear Burritos, The Cupcakerie, Oliverio’s Ristorante, Pizza Al’s, and more.
“This is our biggest BOM yet, with nearly 12,000 ballots cast,” says Morgantown magazine publisher Nikki Bowman. “The BOM party is an exciting night—a great way to celebrate the best businesses and people in Morgantown.”
Tickets cost $10 each. For tickets and more information, visit morgantownmag.com/BOM or call 304.413.0104.
